Flat Maycee Visits

Wednesday, March 25, 2020

We had an out of state visitor this past week, Flat Maycee.

Maycee is a 2nd grader in the Greenbrier, AR school district.  Her class did a "Flat Stanley" project so they sent Flat Maycee to stay with us for a week.  Since she was an out of town guest, we made her a face mask so that no one would get sick!

She was "quarantined" at Miner Nursing Center for one week and stayed safely in the Business Office during her visit.  She got to hang out with family, numerous residents, went to physical therapy to work on strengthening her arms, visited the Veterans wall and hung out on some of her favorite door wreaths.

We really enjoyed having her with us!  Check out the pictures below to see her journey...

COVID-19 Update

Wednesday, March 18, 2020

Miner Nursing Center has implemented President Trump’s recommendation that nursing homes suspend all medically unnecessary visits.  We will reevaluate this decision weekly.  We take government recommendations designed to protect our residents and staff seriously and are monitoring the situation closely.  We will continue to do all we can to facilitate communication between our residents and their loved ones.  Our priority is keeping our residents and staff safe and healthy.
